BOOKED!!! / Update / Shoots ‘n Stuff

Hi guys,

Can I just say that each day I am more and more excited to get rid of this day job and pursue this industry hardcore. I got an ongoing photography gig that I hope works out well, that would be a great flexible survival job that I LOVE. Cross your fingers for me.

OK... Update:
Voiceover Project
It seems that the voiceover soap opera thingy I booked is on hold. Not sure what they’re up to. They just told us they have some “decisions to make on their end” so I guess I’ll find out more after they’ve made their decisions hehe.
Short Film for BET Competition/Festival
We had the reading and I’m waiting for the script changes so we can get this project popping. The topic is serious, but my character is the comic relief. I'm excited to play this role and hope I'm funny. I’m also hoping to be a part of the casting process for the one role we’re missing, that ought to be fun and interesting. And I was able to slide a MUA friend of mine into the crew to do the SFX makeup on the main character. I can’t wait for this project to begin.

Booked!!
I booked a co-star role in a pretty funny short film. Not sure when we’re shooting, but I’m excited. I feel like it’s going to be tons of fun and just from the emails I've been receiving, the folks seem organized and friendly.

Tisha Ioli just called me with a quick commercial background gig for tomorrow. I’m off from my dayjob tomorrow so that works out perfectly. I like surprise cashflow windfalls.

Shoots
I will be getting the images from the designer look book shoot from 2 weekends ago soon. Can't wait to see that!
On Saturday I shot 3 fabulous girls, headshots for two and then a beauty look for 1. I’ll post the product of that on my photography blog if you’re interested.
For myself, I did two fun shoots on Monday. The first was a TFP headshot shoot with Axel Avin (a fellow actor/photographer combo) and the second was a TFP sexy glamour shoot with my good friend Hector of Hydra Multimedia. I’ll be putting the less naughty shots up here, and the Headshots that I finally decide on. I think I’ll use the products of this shoot for my postcards.

Speaking of postcards, I think I have enough new info to do a bit of postcarding to CDs/Agents I’ve met with. That’ll be one of my projects this weekend.

Hmmmm...what else....oh, The meisner class I wanted to take was postponed until January (wtf) so I started looking into other options. Penny Templeton’s Intensive “conservatory” looks pretty interesting. I want to fill the rest of the year with classes so my other project for this weekend is to find some good options that haven’t yet started.

Tonight I have an audition with a commercial agent via the network. I'll let ya know how it goes.
